Manage | Install, Configure, and Upgrade#
This section contains guides to install, upgrade, and configure EclecticIQ Intelligence Center.
Upgrade operating system
When upgrading an EclecticIQ Intelligence Center (EIQ IC) instance on hosts running older operating systems (such as CentOS 7 or RHEL 7), you must upgrade the operating system to Rocky Linux 8 or 9, or RHEL 8 or 9 before attempting to upgrade to EIQ IC 3.0 and newer.

Install or upgrade#
Ansible playbooks#
(Recommended) Use Ansible playbooks to install and upgrade EIQ IC.
Install EIQ IQ with Ansible playbooks: This guides you through the installation of EIQ IC to one or more nodes.
Upgrade EIQ IC (2.14 > 3.0, 3.x only): Upgrade EIQ IC from 2.14 to 3.0, or within 3.x.
Upgrade EIQ IC (2.x only): Upgrade EIQ IC from 2.x to 2.14.
Offline#
You can run an offline (“airgapped”) installation of EIQ IC by downloading the playbooks and serving them to the hosts in your intended deployment.
Manual#
Deprecated: Use installation playbooks instead
Instructions to manually install and upgrade EclecticIQ Intelligence Center, and using rundoc to install or upgrade EclecticIQ Intelligence Center, are deprecated.
Use Manage | Install | Playbooks instead.
