Private key#

Private key allows you to add one PGP private key to EclecticIQ Intelligence Center. Outgoing feeds can be configured to sign packages with the private key added here.

Tip

Outgoing feeds will use this private key to sign packages if you select Sign content with private key in the feed’s configuration.

Add or edit private key#

Only one PGP private key can be configured for EclecticIQ Intelligence Center.

To add a PGP private key, or edit an existing key:

  1. From the left navigation, go to Settings Settings > System settings > Private Key.

  2. Select Edit settings.

  3. In Edit private key settings, fill out these fields:

    Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).

    Enter the exported ASCII output for the PGP private key here. This is usually the contents of an .asc file provided by the data source.

  4. Select Save to finish adding your PGP private keys.

Reset settings#

Danger

This action is irreversible.

You can remove the existing private key from EclecticIQ Intelligence Center with Reset settings.

To remove the existing private key from EclecticIQ Intelligence Center:

  1. From the left navigation, go to Settings Settings > System settings > Private Key.

  2. Select Edit settings.

  3. Select RESET SETTINGS.

    This will permanently remove the existing private key from EclecticIQ Intelligence Center.
