Add entities to a dataset#
Add a single entity#
To add an entity.
In the left navigation bar, go to Search > GO TO SEARCH AND BROWSE > Entities.
Once in the active view, locate the entity you want to add to a dataset.
Click next to the entity you want to add to a dataset.
From the drop-down menu, select Add to dataset.
In the Add entity to a dataset dialog, click the Dataset drop-down to select an existing dataset to add the entity to.
To add the entity to a new dataset, which you can create on the fly, select Create new dataset.
In this case, the New dataset name input field is displayed: enter a name for the new dataset.
Optionally, you can assign the entity to a workspace by clicking the Workspace drop-down, and then by selecting an existing destination workspace or by creating a new one on the fly.
Click Add to dataset to add the entity to the selected dataset and to close the dialog.
You can also add a currently open entity to a dataset by selecting More > Add to dataset.
You can add to datasets only published entities. You cannot add draft entities to a dataset.
Add multiple entities#
To add multiple entities:
In the active view, select the checkboxes corresponding to the entities you want to add in bulk to a dataset.
In the top-right of the table view, click Add to menu.
From the drop-down menu, select Dataset.
