Set up two-factor authentication
Set up two-factor authentication for your user account.
As an Intelligence Center user with non-admin access rights, you can choose to set up two-factor authentication for your user account at any time to enhance security when signing in to the Intelligence Center.
If your Intelligence Center administrator has enforced two-factor authentication Intelligence Center-wide, you must set up two-factor authentication for your user account before you can sign in to the Intelligence Center.
Two-factor authentication for the Intelligence Center supports only authentication app-generated second factors.
If you do not have a supported authentication app on your smartphone, go to the official marketplace for your phone brand and model, and then download and install the app.
After registering two-factor authentication by scanning a QR code, the authentication app generates a temporary one-time password (TOTP
), which is your second authentication factor.
EclecticIQ Intelligence Center two-factor authentication supports any authentication app for Android and iOS smartphones that implements the OTP authentication mechanism.
