Edit a taxonomy entry

You can edit only user-created, custom taxonomy entries. You cannot edit the predefined Admiralty code and Kill chain taxonomies.

To edit an existing taxonomy entry, do the following:

1. In the left navigation bar, go to Data configuration > Taxonomies.

2. The Taxonomies view lists the existing taxonomy entries.
   You can sort the items by using the column header. The icons and in the header indicate ascending and descending sort order, respectively.In the overview table, click .

3. From the drop-down menu, select Edit.

4. In the Edit taxonomy view, you can edit the name, the description, or the parent-child hierarchy relationship as needed.

5. Click Save to store your changes, or Cancel to discard them.
