Browse Unified Entities#

Enable or disable Unified Entity view#

When browsing Entities, you can toggle between viewing Unified Entities and viewing all Entities individually.

  1. From the Entity browse view, select the Unified Entity view toggle button in the top right corner.

  2. When enabled, Unified Entities are displayed with their contributing Entities nested beneath them.

  3. When disabled, all Entities are displayed individually without grouping.

View contributing Entities#

Unified Entities are displayed in an expandable table format that allows you to view their contributing Entities.

To view contributing Entities:

  1. In the Entity browse view, locate a Unified Entity.

  2. Select the expand icon next to the Unified Entity.

  3. The contributing Entities will load in a nested table beneath the Unified Entity.

Behavior:

  • Only one nested table can be expanded at a time. Expanding a different Unified Entity will automatically collapse any previously opened nested table.

  • The nested table displays columns based on your current table column settings.

  • If you collapse a nested table while contributing Entities are selected, those Entities will be deselected.

Search and filter Unified Entities#

Search queries and filters apply to all Entity types: Unified Entities, standalone Entities, and contributing Entities.

Search behavior:

  • When you search or apply filters, the system searches across all Entities.

  • If a contributing Entity matches your search criteria, its parent Unified Entity will be displayed in the results.

  • All matching contributing Entities are displayed within their Unified Entity, even if the Unified Entity itself doesn’t match the search.

Example: If you search for “APT29” and three contributing Entities contain this term, all three will be displayed under their parent Unified Entity, even if the Unified Entity’s title is “Cozy Bear”.
