Splunk SOAR | Configure | Install the Splunk SOAR app

Follow the steps below to install the EclecticIQ Intelligence Center app for Splunk SOAR.

1. In Splunk SOAR, from the dropdown in the top left corner select Apps.

2. Select New Apps, search for EclecticIQ and select Install.

Sideloading a package file

Alternatively, you can install using a package file (“sideload”). This can be useful for installing a specific version of the app, but the app won’t auto update to the latest version with subsequent releases.

To get the most up to date version that automatically updates, always install the app from within Splunk SOAR as described above.

To sideload a package file:

1. In Splunk SOAR, from the dropdown in the top right corner select Apps.

2. Select Install app.

3. In the window that appears, drag and drop the package file to use it for the installation.

Once done, you can find the EclecticIQ Intelligence Center app for Splunk SOAR under Apps > Unconfigured Apps.
