Manage data policies#

Run a policy#

To run a policy, you must first enable it.

Policy runs can be started manually or scheduled.

Run manually#

To run a policy immediately:

  1. Make sure the policy is enabled.

  2. Select a policy to open it.

  3. In the panel that opens, select More (More) in the top right.

  4. Select Run now.

Schedule a policy#

To schedule a policy to run:

  1. Go to Data configuration (Data configuration icon) > Policies.

  2. Select a policy to open it.

  3. In the panel that opens, select More (More) > Edit in the top right.

  4. Select Enable to allow the policy to run.

  5. In the Schedule section, set a schedule by:

    1. Selecting an option in the Execution schedule drop-down menu.

    2. Setting how frequent the policy should run in the fields that appear.

  6. Select Save at the bottom-right.

Enable or disable a policy#

Enable a policy#

To enable a policy:

  1. Go to Data configuration (Data configuration icon) > Policies.

  2. Locate the policy you want to enable, and select More (More) on its right.

  3. In the menu that appears, select Enable.

Disable a policy#

To disable a policy:

  1. Go to Data configuration (Data configuration icon) > Policies.

  2. Locate the policy you want to enable, and select More (More) on its right.

  3. In the menu that appears, select Disable.

Remove a policy#

Caution

Removing a policy is irreversible.

To remove a policy:

  1. Go to Data configuration (Data configuration icon) > Policies.

  2. Locate the policy you want to enable, and select More (More) on its right.

  3. In the menu that appears, select Delete.

  4. In the dialog box that appears, select Delete to confirm.
