Export entities#

Manually export entities to JSON or STIX for further analysis.

First, find an entity to work with. Go to Search Search icon > GO TO SEARCH AND BROWSE > Entities. Then:

  1. In the active view, browse to the entity you want to export.

  2. Click the menu icon More corresponding to the entity you want to export.

  3. From the drop-down menu select Export.

  4. Select the export format: either JSON or STIX.

  5. In the popup dialog, browse to the desired location you want to save the file to, and then confirm the action.

  6. The entity is exported and saved as a file in the specified format.

Alternatively:

  1. In the active view, browse to the entity you want to export.

  2. Click anywhere in the row corresponding to the entity you want to export.

    The entity detail pane is displayed.

  3. In the top-right corner click the menu icon More.

  4. From the drop-down menu select Export.

  5. Select the export format: either JSON or STIX.

  6. In the popup dialog, browse to the desired location you want to save the file to, and then confirm the action.

  7. The entity is exported and saved as a file in the specified format.
