Launch the platform VM
Start the VM to make the platform available, and then access the platform through a web browser.
Start the VM
To access the VM, you need to enter valid login credentials.
If you do not have these details, contact us.
Launch VirtualBox or VMWare Player, and then start/play the VM.
If you are prompted for login credentials at startup, enter the user name and password provided.
The VM should be up and running.
Get the VM IP address
To retrieve the IP address of the platform host VM:
Open a terminal session, and then run the following command:
ip address
Look for the following entry to identify the VM IP address:
inet ${IP_address}
The inet IP address is the one you need to use to access the platform.
Example: inet 10.0.2.148.
Go to the platform
In your host machine, launch a web browser (recommended: Google Chrome).
In the address bar, enter the VM IP address.
Example: https://10.0.2.148/The platform sign-in screen is displayed.
Sign in with the appropriate credentials.
The browser may display an untrusted connection warning: add it as an exception, and then proceed to the platform.
