Incoming feed - IntSights Alerts


This procedure describes how to configure incoming feeds for a particular feed data source, transport type, or content type.

Ingested data

This extension ingests alerts that have been set up for assets in your IntSights Threat Command account.

Processed data

Ingested alerts are processes to produce Threat Reports on the platform.

Description

The IntSights Alerts feed watches for alerts on your IntSights Threat Command account and creates reports for these alerts.

Requirements

  • Users must have a list of assets in IntSights Threat Command.

  • Alerts must be set up for these assets.

  • Users must have an API key for their IntSights Threat Command account.

Configure the incoming feed

  1. Create or edit an incoming feed.

  2. Under Transport and content, fill in these fields:

    Select IntSights Alerts Feed from the drop-down menu.

    Content type*

    Select IntSights Alerts JSON from the drop-down menu.

    API URL*

    By default, this is set to https://api.intsights.com

    Account ID*

    Enter your IntSights Threat Command account ID

    API key*

    Enter your IntSights Threat Command API key.

    SSL verification

    Selected by default. Select this option to enable SSL for this feed.

    Path to SSL certificate file

    Used when connecting to a feed source that uses a custom CA. Set this as the path to the SSL certificate to use when authenticating the feed source.

    Start ingesting from*

    Ingest data from the feed source starting from this date and time. Use the drop-down calendar to select the date and time you want to start ingesting feed data from.

  3. To store your changes, click Save; to discard them, click Cancel.
