About source reliability

You can assign data sources a reliability value, so that you can filter and search for entities based on how reliable their source is.
This helps identify relevant intelligence and minimize data noise.

To set a source reliability value for ingested and created entities :

  • When you create a new entity or when you edit an existing one, select a data source for the entity from the options available in the Source drop-down menu.

  • When you create a new incoming feed, the incoming feed name is the data source assigned to all the entities ingested through that feed.

Data source reliability information is stored in the following JSON field: sources.source_reliability

Source reliability helps assess the level of accuracy and trustworthiness of the data source the entity originates from.
The reliability values available in the Intelligence Center have the same meaning as the first character in the two-character Admiralty System code.
